A local currency only useable within SW2 and SW9 postcodes in London, was set up in 2009 to help boost the areas economy and encourage local trade.
Local design agency, This Ain’t Rock ’n’ Roll has redesigned the notes to feature some of the best known local talent – David Bowie and Chicago Bulls star Luol Deng feature on the notes, which use a variety of printing techniques such as fluorescent inks, foils, holograms and watermarked paper stock.
